so after breakfast we went and against my better judgement I grabbed the small Chainsaw, knowing Luz was gonna have to carry it out since I would be taking the tree. We hop in the work truck and go to the backside.
We hike to under the cornice on Chair 2 were there are a plenty of nice christmas trees, and ones that need to be cleared anyways.
well there was alot of nice trees but I wanted a perfect tree well i finally decided that the top of this pretty tall tree was what I wanted, well Iwanted it out of the run too.
SO yea i was right I should have brought my big saw because they have idiots running these litte saws and they are just junk even though they are like 1 month old. but none the less I got her down. I have a video of it though we will see if it lets me put it on here it isnt right now.
I cut it off some but I forgot a tape measure so I had to leave it long. Luz took the saw and I drug the tree out.
once we got back I measured it and cut her off. I didnt have a stand but I made one up real quick.
We put on the lights, but no ornaments yet.

What a cute tree! Ornaments will come in time. We have always had a tradition in my family growing up. Santa would bring us an ornament every year, always relating to something that happened during that year. Once I got married I was able to take all my ornaments with me for my own family tree. We have started this with the kids. Unfortunately, this leaves my parents tree bare once all the kids leave. So start a tradition amongst yourselves before the kids come.
thats sweet dude
Great story Bud, Great tree too. Looking forward to having you here for your first Christmas together.
Love, Mom
